descriptionMission & description | Coyote Hill Christian Children's Home's target population is abused and neglected children between the ages of 6 and 14 upon placement. We will take children outside of this target age range if they are part of a sibling group. Our homes serve both boys and girls, which allows us to care for co-ed sibling groups within the same home. Our focus is to serve sibling groups, children who are disrupting consecutive traditional foster home placements, and children moving back into family/community settings from more structured intensive care facilities. The typical child placed at Coyote Hill has multiple problems, multiple placements, and is severely vulnerable and at-risk. Our holistic approach and longer-term environment allows for our services to correctly identify disorders and problems, while allowing us to implement concrete change within these children. |
