Developing thriving and sustainable urban ministries
Desire Street Ministries began in 1990 in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans, LA. Today, Desire Street is using its 25+ years of experience to develop thriving and sustainable urban ministries by employing strategic partnerships to effectively and efficiently reach hundreds of inner-city children and their families in FL, GA, SC, AL, LA and TX. Desire Street currently works intensively with leaders in varying stages of a 5-7 year partnership agreement, while also providing day-long topical seminars for leaders and sharing our expertise and support with over 100 leaders annually who contact us for counsel. Through our website, we provide ministry leadership resources to anyone with internet access.
