What this organization describes

Strengthening communities with innovative approaches to health and wellness

Founded in 2007, Healthcorps is on a mission to make kids happier and healthier in the US through education initiatives. Our curriculum represents lessons from over a decade of work and research in many of America's most challenging high schools. We offer two programs: Living Labs, where a HealthCorps Coordinator is placed inside a high need high school to teach wellness related classes and HealthCorps University (HCU), where we offer a one-day training in the HealthCorps curriculum for the classroom and beyond. We work with educators, community members, and organizational leaders in order to strengthen communities nationwide, utilizing the lessons learned from our Living Labs.
