Engaging and connecting the public to the history, art and culture of Martha's Vineyard
The Martha's Vineyard Museum preserves and interprets collections that engage and connect the public to the Island's history, art and culture. The Museum is committed to aiding in the education of Island school children as well as offering Island residents adult education programs. The organization also publishes The Dukes County Intelligencer, a journal of Vineyard history, as well as other significant books, guides, novels, and brochures. The Museum is open to the public year round.
