Educating, inspiring, and transforming young women in the Wilmington area
Serviam Girls Academy is a tuition-free, independent Catholic middle school in the Ursuline tradition for young women of all faiths from low-income families. Serviam empowers students to succeed in high school and become leaders who serve their families and the needs of society through a dynamic academic program and the development of the whole person in an atmosphere of respect and responsibility. Serviam Girls Academy's roots date back to 1971 and the all boys, Jesuit middle school, Nativity Mission, founded on the lower east side of Manhattan. Having opened its doors in 2008 to a group of eager and spirited 5th and 6th grade students, Serviam is proudly educating 53 girls in grades 5 through 8, and supporting 43 alums in both high school and college.
