The mission

What this organization describes

All are welcome here!
Our mission is to serve individuals touched by HIV/AIDS through prevention, education, client-centered services, and coordinated care in collaboration with community partners. Since our founding nearly 30 years ago, the Southwest Center has been committed to addressing Arizona's ever-changing HIV epidemic. Unfortunately, while rates of new infections are declining nationally, they are rising in Arizona, and youth, women, and people of color are especially hard hit. Not only is there a need for increased HIV prevention efforts, but we also need long-term, integrated care and support for people living with HIV.
