Boy Scouts of America, Dan Beard Council is the Cincinnati area council of the national Boy Scouts of America (BSA) organization. The mission of the BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The BSA prepares every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law. The Dan Beard Council serves 31,352 registered boy scouts throughout twelve counties in Kentucky and Ohio.
