descriptionMission & description | COCA - Center of Creative Arts is a nationally recognized not-for-profit arts organization whose innovative programs encourage people to see, think and express themselves in new ways. As a leader in arts education, and the largest multidisciplinary arts institution in St. Louis, we annually serve more than 50,000 people of all ages and skill levels, from enthusiastic amateurs to emerging professionals-all taught by a faculty of distinguished arts educators. We provide meaningful arts experiences in our own studios, gallery and theatres as well as in schools, community centers and business settings in order to build a vibrant community that is creative, connected and inclusive. To ensure diversity and accessibility in all of our programs we are committed to eliminating economic and social barriers to participation in the arts. Since 1986, COCA has helped the people of St. Louis-from schoolchildren to business executives-discover their creative potential. |
