descriptionMission & description | We believe that no one should be hungry. Marion-Polk Food Share is the regional food bank leading the fight to end hunger in Marion and Polk counties. Support from our local community makes it possible for the Food Share to collect and distribute nutritious food to more than 100 partner programs, including food pantries, meal sites, foster homes, shelters and senior housing sites. Every month, thousands of people, including parents, children, seniors and veterans, receive emergency food through the Food Share partner network. The Food Share also supports community gardens, vocational training opportunities and other programs to address the root causes of hunger. |
