Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, the birthplace of basketball, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame promotes and preserves the game of basketball at every level - professional, collegiate, men and women. The mission of the Hall of Fame is to honor and celebrate basketball's greatest moments and people. This is accomplished through the integrity of the Hall of Fame election process, educational and outreach initiatives, a sports museum, traveling exhibits, and worldwide events.
