descriptionMission & description | Serving the Omaha and Council Bluffs metropolitan area since 1975, the Siena/Francis House is Nebraska's largest shelter, providing homeless services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The Siena/Francis House welcomes, shelters and empowers individuals experiencing homelessness to navigate their own path to safe and appropriate housing. Besides shelter, our organization provides food, clothing and all of the in-kind necessities needed for activities of daily living to those seeking our services. Siena/Francis House also has a day shelter for the homeless, a Rehousing & Reintegration Program, as well as a residential addiction recovery program, all of which are designed to help persons experiencing homelessness to acquire the services they need in order to navigate their way out of homelessness and into appropriate, affordable and safe housing, outside of our shelter. |
