The Skirball welcomes people of all communities and generations to participate in cultural experiences that celebrate discovery and hope, foster human connections, and call upon us to help build a more just society. The Skirball advances its mission through: the display and interpretation of its museum collection and changing exhibitions; scholarship and publications; the presentation of 300+ annual public programs that explore literary, visual, and performing arts from around the world; pioneering school outreach programs; an interactive children's museum inspired by the Noah's Ark story; Zeidler's Café; Audrey's Museum Store; and community outreach. The Skirball welcomes over 600,000 visitors annually, including 100,000 students and teachers in pre-K- 12th grade, mainly from public schools. |
