Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Archdiocesan Council of St. Louis, a Catholic volunteer organization, leads individuals to join together to offer person-to-person service to the poor and the suffering of all faiths. We believe that helping neighbors starts at home. At the heart of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Archdiocesan Council of St. Louis service is the home visit. Neighborhood-based volunteers, called Vincentians, make home visits to offer hope and help; the home visit also gives a better assessment of the family's circumstances and needs.
