The mission of The National Children's Cancer Society (N.C.C.S.) is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families worldwide. Since its inception in 1987, the N.C.C.S. has provided more than $49 million in program distributions to assist the families of more than 26,000 children, and provided supplemental assistance through educational programs and publications to thousands more. The N.C.C.S. works with more than 200 hospitals and pediatric oncology units throughout the United States. Since 1993, the N.C.C.S. has distributed more than $242 million in donated medical products to 57 facilities in 36 countries.
