Where homeless kids get a chance to soar
Vogel Alcove is a non-profit childcare facility that serves homeless children ages six weeks to 12 years old. We provide early childhood education; dedicated developmental and therapeutic services; after-school and summer camps; and a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn and grow-all at no cost to families. Vogel Alcove is the only free comprehensive early childhood education program in the city of Dallas whose primary focus is to provide free childcare and case management for children and their families referred by local emergency shelters, domestic violence shelters, housing programs and organizations that serve homeless families.
