What this organization describes

Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith
Young Life (YL), which began in 1941, brings the good news of Jesus Christ into the lives of adolescents with an approach that is respectful of who kids are and hopeful about who they can be. YL is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school and college-aged kids. Our approach is relational. We go where kids are in order to build friendships with them and earn the right to make a positive impact on their lives. We want them to know that they are loved and valued. YL is working with teens in more than 8,000 locations across the United States and in more than 100 countries.
