descriptionMission & description | Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) brings hope and healing to children and families in crisis. For more than 130 years, the nonprofit has offered caring homes to countless boys and girls who come from circumstances ranging from family dysfunction to situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment. BCH provides a myriad of services including children's residential care, family care for single mothers and their children, homes for developmentally disabled adults, weekday education, and a resource-based program for aging adults. BCH and its highly-trained staff serve all 100 counties of North Carolina with 21 statewide locations plus an orphanage in Guatemala. BCH is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. The organization was reaccredited in 2015 receiving a perfect score on 96% of the 1,000 standards that were evaluated. |
