descriptionMission & description | Children's Hospital Foundation improves the health of children through its support of research and education at the Oklahoma Health Center. Since our inception in 1983, the Foundation has raised over $109 million to fund quality specialized programs. Our current research and education focus areas include: childhood cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, bone marrow transplants, blood disorders, sickle cell, cystic fibrosis and lung disease, genetics, infectious disease, kidney disease, gastroenterology, pulmonology, arthritis, cardiology and eating disorders, neurodevelopment and behavioral pediatrics, clinical child psychology, trauma and pediatric surgery, autism and other learning disorders, congenital defects, trauma and care of critically ill newborns, ethics in pediatric medicine, and pediatric training. |
